Hands Up For Financial Rights

Everyday, Community Legal Centres (CLC) like TASC Legal and Social Justice Services work with local communities to support people who experience financial disadvantage to access justice regardless of their earnings. It is easy to find ourselves in this situation through no fault of your own and that is why at TASC we understand the reality of poverty and put our hands up to help advocate for your rights!

Close the Gap – Roma Event (Wednesday 16 March 2022) at the Big Rig

Ahead of the National Close the Gap Day tomorrow, our Roma Solicitor Lauren went along to the Close the Gap Roma event organised by the Surat Aboriginal Corporation to show support and learn more about other local community services. The National Close the Gap Day advocates for health equality and raises awareness of the barriers to accessing help experienced by our First Nations community members.

If you are a First Nations person looking for Legal, Justice or Advocacy support within South West Qld, then please visit www.tascnational.org.au/services to see how we can support you.
