Legal Services
TASC provides free legal services to people who meet our eligibility criteria (click here to see if you’re eligible).
Our teams in Goondiwindi, Ipswich, Roma, Stanthorpe and Toowoomba provide free generalist consultation, advice, casework and referral services to the community.
We also deliver outreach services in rural and regional areas of Greater Southwest Queensland, in towns including Warwick, Dalby, St George and Chinchilla.
Social Justice Services
TASC’s Social Justice Team includes advocates, social workers and solicitors who are here to help you safely raise concerns and understand your rights.
Advocacy Services
Some ways that a TASC Advocate can help you are:
- Helping you write a letter or email to a government agency or business about how you, or someone you know, has been treated.
- When you have a dispute or problem with a service provider or agency, we can come along with you to meetings so you have support.
- Supporting you with matters that go before the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT).
- If you are renting a residential property in Toowoomba, we can provide free, independent advice through the Queensland Statewide Tenant Advice and Referral Service (QSTARS).
