Volunteer With TASC

Did you know that three in every ten people in Australia are volunteers?

At TASC, we value volunteers and everything they contribute to our service.  So if you live in Toowoomba, Ipswich, Roma or surrounding areas, and you have some spare time to contribute to your community – talk to TASC!

What can I do if I volunteer with TASC?

TASC runs three main services:

  • Legal services
  • Social justice and advocacy services
  • Administration and business services

Within these areas, there are heaps of tasks and activities you can get involved in.  Our volunteers have helped with everything from court support for people involved in legal matters, to assisting with events and administration.

And of course, we love hearing from legal students who want real-life experience with a vibrant community legal centre.

We’ll talk to you about what is a good fit for you as a volunteer, taking into account your skills and interests.

Why volunteer with TASC?

Over the years, volunteers have told us that their experiences have been:

  • rewarding and fulfilling
  • a two-way street: you give and you gain
  • an ideal way to meet new friends
  • terrific for gaining new skills or professional experiences
  • great for their CV

How do I sign up as a volunteer?

It’s easy! Simply apply via our volunteer portal: click here to access

We’ll get back to you and have a chat about your skills, interests and the time you have available.

Hear about volunteering with TASC from some of our previous volunteers – including Brenton Day, who is now a solicitor with our Toowoomba team.
