Hi! My name is Chloe Blaney and I am the newest team member at TASC Ipswich.
I am Gold Coast born and bred and moved to Brisbane about 6 years ago. I was admitted as a lawyer in 2014, and until very recently worked in private law firms in Brisbane. I have also been a volunteer lawyer at the Women’s Legal Service for most of my lawyer life. This is where my love of community legal centres began and I am thrilled to now be able to work in a CLC full-time!
I am lucky enough to have had exposure to many areas of the law including wills and estates, property, commercial, family and litigation. I am happy to help our clients with any kind of legal matter; but much of my experience lies in civil, family and domestic violence matters.
When I am not lawyering, I am enjoying time with my partner, my friends and family (currently virtually), cooking (& eating of course), travelling and reading. Random fact – if I had not gone to law school, I would have auditioned for the Conservatorium of Music with the hopes of working in musical theatre.
I have come to TASC because community legal centres are awesome, “doing good” is one of the most fulfilling feelings you can have, and upholding social justice is the reason why I wanted to be a lawyer in the first place.
I am here to help at TASC – just give me a call.
