The issue of Domestic Violence is a major challenge and issue for our community. On 7 September 2016, to find out more about how perpetrators of domestic violence have sought help, TASC Solicitors, Brenton Day and Miranda Woodland attended a screening of “Call me Dad” at the Toowoomba Regional Library.

“Call Me Dad is a story about men who have perpetrated, or are at risk of perpetrating, family violence. At stake is the safety of children and partners, the stability of families, and the power we as a society have to intervene.”

This thought provoking and confronting perspective also provided an excellent opportunity to meet organisations from around Toowoomba that assist those at risk of domestic violence.
